TWICE invites you to participate in a celebration of reading using video conference technology!

TWICE provides a matching service for point-to-point videoconferences between schools. Teacher matching is done based on your registration information. Participating schools are responsible for making the connections work successfully.

*Disclaimer. While we are using this name to be inclusive to our international friends, this name does NOT guarantee U.S. schools an international connection. 90% of the classes that participate are from the U.S. Matching happens randomly based on the time you select, grade level, and type of connection. You can increase your chances of an international match by carefully selecting your time based on the time zones.

First, decide if you want to participate.

Second, get ready to participate.

LOGIN to CAPspace / Collaborations Around the Planet. Use the Scavenger Hunt to make sure your profile is all set up.
Please have your network administrator whitelist the twice.cc domain so that you can receive email communications about the event.

Third, print and share the packets.

VC Coordinator Packet (how to make this a success for your school)
Teacher Packet (Has the lesson ideas etc.)
Checklist (also in the coordinator & tech packets)
Multiple Connections Chart (also in the coordinator & tech packets)

Fourth, get your equipment verified. (Usually done by videoconference coordinators or tech contacts.)

Fifth, teacher registration.

(Usually done by coordinators for teachers, but can also be done by by teachers with CAPspace accounts who are "hooked" to verified eqiupment in CAPspace)
