Diversity Cooking Class

Possible dates/times: Any or tied to a certain holiday

Learner Outcomes: Students will learn about different cultures, unique ingredients, costume, menus.

Methods and Activities:
Cooking demonstration. This could be a multi-point connection with up to 4 sites. Finished dish is prepared ahead of time to show at the end of the session. Students will wear dress from the country. They will talk about the country during the demonstration. Classes involved will put together a cookbook of recipes to share with each other

Materials: Recipes will be shared.

Time: About how much time will it take? One hour

Students Will: Select the country and dish to be prepared. Investigate costume ideas. Prepare any visuals.

Teachers Will: Help to find easy recipe for the dish to prepare. Help to find special or unique ingredients. Help to get the cookbook completed.
