Michigan History Reenactment

Possible dates/times: Month of May

Learner Outcomes: Reenactment of a particular historical event in Michigan history.

Methods and Activities: How will you convey the topic (lecture, discussion, hands on activity)? Classes will choose a specific event pertaining to a previously agreed upon time frame from Michigan history. Students participation will involve research, practice, and creating a visually intersesting live presentation. Teachers will coordinate, email other interested classrooms, and work with the distance learning coordinator.

Materials: Michigan history books, distance learning classroom.

Time: One session early in the semester where the classes would agree upon the time frame and event.

Students Will: Research, create a script, create visuals and present.

Teachers Will: Setup times with Distant Learning Coordinator and reinactors.
